Schizoaffective disorder
Schizoaffective disorder is a chronic mental illness that involves symptoms of both schizophrenia and a mood disorder:
- Schizophrenia symptoms include hallucinations, delusions, and changes in thinking, perceptions, and sense of self
 - Mood disorder symptoms include depression or mania, which can involve extreme shifts in mood, energy, and behavior
 
Other symptoms include:
- Disorientation
 - Confusion or fear
 - Feeling disconnected from emotions
 - Difficulty concentrating
 - Lack of motivation or interest
 - Bizarre or unusual behavior
 - Difficulty functioning at work, school, or in social situations
